I’m Darren Byrne, a multi-award-winning photographer and videographer based on the Meath/Kildare border. After studying photography at Dundalk Institute of Technology, I set up my wedding and portrait studio in Kilcock, Co. Meath.
For over 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of capturing thousands of magical moments for couples across Ireland. From grand celebrations to intimate ceremonies, every wedding tells a unique story, and I’m here to document it beautifully, one frame at a time.

I’m honoured to have been named Photographer of the Year at the National Wedding Industry Awards 2026, and Photographer of the Year at the weddingsonline Awards in both 2025 and 2022. Our wedding films won Wedding Videographer of the Year at the weddingsonline Awards 2018, and I was a finalist in both the Creative Wedding and Documentary Wedding categories at the IPPVA Irish Professional Photographer of the Year Awards 2022.
